West Bengal Professional Fisheries Graduates’ Association (WBPFGA) was established in the year 2006 registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961 No.39377 of 2006-07 for welfare of the professional fisheries graduates and farming community. Currently WBPFGA is the largest organization of fisheries technocrats comprising of all B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science-A four years Professional Degree Programme recognized by the University Grant Commission and accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research) graduates of West Bengal working for the overall betterment of the fisheries sector.
